X2. You can't count on this guy for a favorable reference. I'm almost always an advocate for giving two weeks notice, but in this case...Id say just call the guy and quit the moment you line something else up.

After being on the other side of the desk this last year, I can tell you that there is no such thing as overpaid when you deal with whiny drivers all day!

it was meant as a joke , besides my dispatchers range in the $43,000 to $69,000 range + perks and get treated very well they are an asset to the company

Oh, I knew it was a joke. I actually enjoy my gig except for having to deal with the drivers part. LOL. Dispatch is just one of my hats, and I usually only have 6 or 7 guys around, maybe 10 when we're swamped. The fact I've trained more than half of them makes me life a little easier when they want to argue about what will and won't fit. But still, there are days.... "Right to the moon, Alice!"
