anyone on here using it yet? Your thoughts on it? Just reading through it makes it seem quite time intensive, I'm sure like anything after a couple of times it gets much quicker.
Just curious what others have found?

If these carriers want their app on MY phone, they can PAY to have it there. I've already told one I won't put it on unless they pay for it and if they don't like it, tough #$%^!!!!!

I know a few guys that use it but actually work for URS. I personally don't for reasons I won't get into.
I know they like the fact that it is less paperwork to deal with for them. I'm not sure if they app would be the same for a broker or not though.
Oh and KT I guess you know and maybe have seen Swift hauling those Dodge vans down around TX?
I've been seeing regular flat beds hauling them too. I guess it's Swift round 2. Guess we will see how long they last this time.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
I've use the URS app last year, I really took a liking to it. It's very easy to use and convenience. You never have to call or talk to dispatcher again if you choose not to. Loads info, photo of damages, pick up confirmation, delivery signature, messaging, and a few other features all can be done within the app.
Swift been hauling them sprinter van inside their vans for couple of years now. They use rollbacks to unload at dealerships. Ran into a driver at a dealership up in NJ, talked him up on his load, what they get pay for those load is a disgrace to the car haulers sector, but I should've expected it coming from swift.KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this. -
I put it on my phone but haven't used it. They sent a 15 page fax of instructions. I've heard it's simple but i pretty much refuse to read 15 pages of instructions on something i could care less about.
KANSAS TRANSIT and Hammer166 Thank this. -
Shouldn't the rate for the vans be around $1.50 to $2.50 a mile a piece? Can only get 2 or 3 on a flatbed or stepdeck type trailer. Would be nice if they paid a flat rate based on the destination fee.

Actually the sprinter vans pay quite well, just have to watch who your dealing with to get it or you get the short end of it.......
