Had an office job that did that. My wife had to suffer with bad insurance while I had great insurance.

True, however nowhere near in the numbers that are doing it this way within the past 5 years or so.

Even the OP's "case in point" is one (of many) that substantiates this "growing/changing" trend.

That doesn't sound legal what if your wife doesn't have a job? how about the kids?.... I would call a lawyer , if this company has over 50 employees by law they have to provide health care for the whole family at affordable cost!!!!! As mandated by Obama, if it's not affordable Obama care IS affordable, I pay $292 a month for a family of 4, there are laws in place that require this

You misinterpreted the OP's post. It says IF the wife has insurance offered at her employer/workplace, then she can no longer be listed on the OP's (husbands) insurance and she will have to be insured thru HER company. If she was unemployed, then yes she could be covered on the OP's medical insurance policy.

They are basically forcing employed husbands and employed wives to be covered separately (if each is working at different employers, and each employer offers health insurance), This causes typically higher premium payments (in total), 2 separate deductibles, and no discounted "all-inclusive" family coverage.

I think, it's none of your company's business, if your wife works or not.

Does the company offer family benefits, or not.

Additionally. I think it's none of the company's business. If your wife has insurance available at her job or not.

Its a hel of a thing. But one must be careful answering questions from employers.

Starting pay is .46 CPM for short haul and extended OTR drivers but from what I've heard the van side of McLeod is just a nightmare, hours of sitting around in docks, weekends cut down to 34 hour resets, oh and I guess hometime is a "privilege" now too but I work in the dump division out of Springfield so I'm every day.
