I'm in St Charles, MN for the night and deliver in Waseca, MN in the morning. Then have a short 500 total mile run from Worthington to Fort Atkinson ((or something like that)) WI that will make my check a little more decent this week. I have surprisingly been able to avoid most of the crazy weather. There's snow on the ground everywhere and we got a like 2 inches in Elkhart last night, but roads have been pretty good all the way from Maine.

I'm pretty stoked about this morning's announcrment. We've all been waiting for an update on DirecTV and we finally got it! Hirschbach has been happy enough with the test units that they signed a 5 year contract and all tractors will be equipped with it! The package includes a 24 inch flat screen tv, a DVR, and a premium channel lineup including HBO, Showtime, and NFL Sunday Ticket all at no cost to the drivers. I cannot wait until I have this in my truck because I won't miss the new Walking Dead or Big Bang Theory episodes anymore! :)

I went almost a week with no APU stuck down near Miami before I quit and it was miserable. However what I did learn is if you can find something to keep the pedal pressed down enough to keep your RPMS up around 900 that truck will idle as long as you want!

I can keep the idle up using the cruise but I thought the temp had to be 20 outside if above the truck shuts off
