You know the FBI is checking everything these guys are doing. They'll get popped if it was a inside job.

Kinda reminds me of the famous gold bullion heist in the UK, about 20 yrs ago. The Brinks-Mat robbery.
Armed robbers stole 4 tons of the stuff worth 26 million GBP at the time and worth about $130 million in today's money.
Can you image trying to haul away 4 tons of gold ? Yikes !! Especially when you didn't realize it was there. They thought it was just cash.
3.5 tons of it was never recovered and I'm sure it ended up back in the gold market.
So you can bet, this gold will never be found again.
There probably was a buyer waiting to do a deal.
But im sure there was a hint of an inside job.
    Too much of a coincidence.

Gotta admit,.. secretly of course,.. If I knew I was hauling $4 million in cash or gold,.. I'm not sure I could resist the temptation.

$50k,.. even $100k,.. not enough to really tempt me. But $4 million,..?? You could live real good in south America with $4 million.

I know thats a terrible thing to admit. Not sure if its just human nature or I am just that bad of a person. If I knew no one would get hurt and I could make a clean get away. I think I would have to at least try it. No risk,. no reward.

Why do you assume he's Mexican? They're a Miami based company. I'd say that would make him more likely Cuban.

I'd give it my best shot! Not like coins have serial #'s.

Thats kinda like over in the UK,.. they dont do a lot of cash over there. They like coins. You buy something for 2 qid, hand the cashier a 5# and you will get all coins back as your change.

I hauled a load once, from the US mint in Denver.

To the Federal Reserve Bank, in Atlanta.
