    Good info to know. I was just about to call sec of state office to make sure i didn't loose those states i didn't drove in last year. As far as cost i think it's a combination of miles and states. I got my IL plate for 1640 with just under 150k miles.

    Can anyone care to explain why some of you are mentioning renewing in November and some May? I thought the registration expires for everyone on March 31? What am I confusing or misunderstanding here?

    Mine runs whenever you first registered for 12 month increments. Any CT registration runs that way. Seems weird to have all registrants attempt to renew the same month of the year...government workers would be hard pressed to keep up

    So this goes into effect whenever your renewal is in 2015? As far as being able to run all 48 without trip permits?

    ehhh the city stickers for personal vehicles in Chicago were always like that... everybody renews at the same time, lines were outrageous... until last year they broke it up into 6-month or 1 yr stickers i believe. hard to believe it took them 100 years to become slightly more efficient -_- http://chicityclerk.com/city-stickers-parking/year-round-sales-2014/
