I am in somewhat the same position. I stopped driving 5 years ago and have been having trouble finding a company that is willing to let me get started again. Butler Transport out of KC just needs experience in the last 10 years, Maverick out of Little Rock has a pretty good re-training program. Still looking for the right one.

Thats weird, I got hired with 0 months experience by a 2 years old company with 6 trucks. Guy told me his insurance did not even raise a cent after hiring me. I guess it depends on the insurance company
