    Hello All,

I've been lurking on here for the past month reading posts (some of them hilarious). Anyways I have been working at PLS for 8 months now and I have never seen them brought up in discussion. Have any of you ever worked with us? Any opinions? I know you guys hate brokers for the most part but I like to think of myself as not a piece of ####. I just want to have a discussion so if anyone is going to come in here bashing for the sake of bashing please just post in another thread. Thanks.

    A couple of questions.

Do you call it The Monaca- Rochester Bridge or The Rochester-Monaca Bridge?
Does the new roundabout get confusing ?
Ever wonder why your company name is Pittsburgh Logistics Systems?

I've moved 3 loads for PLS this year. It all depends on the agent or shipper/PLS customer.....same as any other broker. (except TQL they just suck).

I do periodic business with PLS....mostly inbound freight.

I have nothing bad to say about them, I usually get what im asking in the rate

I worked with Both John and Brandon Hogan over there..Very professional and honest

PLS lost a big customer in Roanoke, VA. PLS fault I hear.

I hauled one load for a broker 200 miles across Virginia for $750. PLS call when they saw me looking at it and offered $400.

I've used them a few times, nothing bad, or anything great to report on.

Pulled two flat bed loads of shelving to a new Lowe's in Kingston, ON I think it was. The linehaul paid OK and we arrived on time for the delivery appointment but the broker neglected to tell me there was a whole whack of other trucks with the same delivery appointment. Needless to say I called to get a detention agreement. I got it ok. she even sent me an e-mail to confirn but no revised rate conf. I attached the e-mail with the rate sheet and invoice and dropped it in the mail. Of course it was short paid. Took me over a year to collect that $150 IIRC. Haven't done business since.

Was this place previously in Beaver Falls? Now, it's in Rochester.
