If we're at it, maybe we should include the crooks on Wall Street, the Jews, the homeless, the moochers on welfare and everyone else under the sun, because we're all in the same boat here people.

.... I've talked to drivers from all over the country and there are bad companies everywhere. Also, you have an entire Forum dedicated to them.

In fairness, it is not only the Eastern European companies out of Chicago that need to change the way they do business. You ever look at the scores for Falcon Transport out of Youngstown, OH? Or Western Express out of Nashville, TN? Yikes!! How do outfits like that even stay in business?

Me too, too often you see a good thread like this with no follow up. I think she could have valuable input in a lot of threads and it would be interesting to see how this turns out over time. Make it kind of like the driver threads where they talk about their life on the road but instead let everyone know what's changing. Heck with 100k+ users just coming here and taking advice from drivers to improve the company could build a heck of a company. truly built by drivers for drivers.

I don't know if I can, but I will try to find someone who recently left us and see if I can get them to join and post on our behalf that they received their escrow returned. I'm not in accounting, but I am close with the drivers I've hired and everyone has my cell - so I think anyone thats quit and wants their money would call me or text me. $1000 is a lot of money to leave behind.

the Big truck truckin' industry expecting the company
to be responsible for bailing them out of their financial

An employee with money problems could be a risk of
being a thief. Desperate people do desperate things.
An employee who can manage to wait 3 weeks for their

I read and hear folks saying, "all the company cares
about is the money, it's all about the money". Then,
on the flip side it seems the employee is no different
than the employer. The only difference being the
company has more to lose than the employee.

Drivers who thrash equipment might develop more
concern for the equipment if they were financially
responsible for their actions. And I'm not referring
to normal wear, damage caused by others or petty
expenses.
Concern, responsibility and respect is a two-way street.

Pete, you're exiting the conversation with misinformation.
Either you haven't read all of the posts by the OP, or your reading comprehension needs improvement.
The OP has addressed that misconception more than once, but by bailing out of the conversation you'll
never find out that Beyond Transport withholds the paychecks for three weeks, then the paychecks
are direct deposited to the employee's personal account every Friday.

That drivers there won't get any of their escrow money back if they leave the company is an
assumption on your part with no basis in fact, unless you have information not presented here.
Sorry, but your "2 cents" is an overcharge.

I had a prior detailed post in response, however it vanished when I hit the send button.
I'm too flustered atm to re-type it all, but in short, it appears you are critical only at the drivers,
yet nothing is said about mismanagement of money and neglect of the equipment by the business owners.

I ask you to review the detailed CSA violations, as the history of them is long and numerous.
Many/most of these violations are a sign of the company's failure to comply, tho some are certainly due to the driver.
A company with this history surely needs close scrutiny as to their 'ways' and 'operations'.

As it looks, I highly doubt any quality driver would be able to pull out of the yard, in any of their trucks, if hired.
I'm confident a proper pre-trip would reveal massive safety violations, leaving a professional driver no choice but to park it.
I highly doubt the owner would be anywhere near agreeable to have all issues fixed, which is what I'd firmly require, before making any run.
It shows in their CSA history/ratings. I've dealt with similar 'CSA red flag' companies, and it's the same old unchanging story.

No matter how professional the driver, they are told to 'make the run & we'll fix it all later'. Been at that rodeo many times.
I'm also confident you won't find one single ex-employee that ever received their $1000 escrow back.
Companies like this 'always' find 'something', even if the driver committed zero 'equipment thrashing',
and even if he/she left the truck in better condition than it was received.

These type of escrow-holding companies always end up keeping the escrow for normal wear items,
like low tire tread, or worn wheel bearing, and even have the nerve to falsely blame it on the driver. Seen it too many times.

Victim? Seriously? If you choose to work for a company with a bad csa, you are NOT a victim of anything but your OWN bad judgement.

Unfortunately, the fact is she is just another low level employee at this company. No matter how sincere her efforts are, she doesn't control the purse strings.

Let ponder a few things:

Her dad had a few trucks, now is down to just him and his authority. She was heavily involved but not is safety department.

Her husband has his own authority and his truck. He thinks the company his wife works .....not good.

Now she has a lot of experience in trucking (none in safety). A degree in accounting. And was hired by a guy with a terrible, I mean terrible , CSA score and you are going to turn him around with little to none safety experience?? Really ?

I'd bet your a recruiter slash "safety officer" that the owner has convinced if he could just get the right drivers we could turn this CSA score around...blah blah.
