Trans Am Still

Thanks buddy! I should have taped something like that to my own forehead, I could have enjoyed TransAm more. Fairly early on, I knew the deal with TransAm, that they are very comfortable to ask me to do ridiculous things, unpaid, but I just stayed. Maybe an optimist but more likely, due to my on again, off again work cycle, TransAm fit for me.

Was at the Flying J on Bonnie View, exit 472 off 20. Bad part of town, but so is everywhere else in that area. Pulled back to the idleair since I knew I was going to be there for a bit. was maybe 50 feet away at the office, gone about 20 minutes. couldn't see my truck from where it was at but when i got back I noticed the truck next to me was gone. I didn't even notice anything till I got the idleaire hooked up, my tv hooked up. went to grab my laptop and it wasn't there. looked around the truck and my gps and shower bag were gone. I had left the door unlocked and whoever did it made it quick which is why they didn't grab my tv. grabbed the wrong bag though, shower bag instead of the one with my ps3 and games in it. ########. oh well, 4 years on the road first time for everything. What pisses me off is it probably was a truck driver because there wasnt anyone around and two the police wouldn't give me a report because there wasn't any forced entry or damage. person was lucky I didnt catch them or passport would need to bail me out.

Queenie that sucks, had a similar situation when I was 16 but I was 5'11" 175 lbs varsity football and wrestler. My brothers were playing basketball and the ball kept going in this, well let's say "idiot" since it's a family site. Wasnt hurting anything jut the guy was moody or whatever and took their ball and wouldnt give it back. So I show up and I went and got it back. Now the guy was a real "idiot" but gave it back and me being 16 I was a bit lippy. As I turned to leave I said something smart and he grabs me and slams me against his house. Well he tries to grab me by the throat but when that happend I guess my instincts kicked in and I punched him in the gut and headbutted him on the nose. blood everywhere and when the police showed up I was on top him and just pounding away. His wife wanted charges pressed against me but the cops just laughed at her. They knew I was 16 and enough witnesses to show it was self defense even though I messed him up pretty bad. Guy still got off lucky, my dad would've killed him probably lol

 

I did make it to the Pilot x398 in Knoxville with 30 min to spare on my 11. And yeah sneaked another one hour nap in. Driving the overnite a few nights ago really did set me back a little. Will depart around 2 am as I have a 115 mile drive to Black Mountain. Three appointments in 7.5 hours and some driving in between. If I make it ontime for all three, it will be a miracle! What did I agree to? Me of little faith.

 

Anyone having trouble on here ? I keep trying to got to the next page ( 622 ) but cant go past ( 621 )

 

Now maybe it is working , strange ?????

 

I have trouble with it doing that if I am using my tablet....I don't remember it doing it on my laptop. I always assumed it was something to do with the tablet.

 

Its been hurry up and wait today. Left Knoxville at 210 am got to Black Mountain and Ingles at 425 am for my 5 am appointment. Left at 0810. 85 mile drive for a 9am appointment fuggedabout it. Got there at 0945. Left there at noon, headed to Charlotte but TA rescheduled to 330 pm. Got there at 130pm and still.waiting. Will be going home tomorrow. My 14 is up. Hate to stay here. Three meat stops on a Monday is triple jeopardy. Come and knock on my door.........(cue 3's Company theme song). Uy vey.

 

At the new place for tonight and tomorrow night. Next hometime I should be moving my wife up. Can't wait. Going to rest for the rest of today and then do some work tomorrow.
