i remember calling for directions. the cell phone was around. but still sucked. but at least everyone spoke english still.

i'm glad gps's are around now. makes the job sooooooooooo much easier. and they come in handy in a million ways.

The worst GPS is way way better than what we used to have thats for sure.
But to add to the conversation.....I personally like co-pilot because they are the same people that make pc*miler which has largely became an industry standard on mileage pay and for those who know me I like to keep tabs on making sure my pay is correct which includes making sure they are not short changing me on miles.

Co-pilot put out an update for the IOS version on Ipad and landscape mode is now working.
A free year of traffic was also given out.

If only they'd fix POI on route.

considering the reliability of copilot compared to that other brand everyone likes to use and complain about.

    considering the price of copilot.

i could care less about any other features. the only feature i use, is the activetraffic. for everything else, i have an app.

So snowwy, Copilot does have active traffic? Will it change your route if it sees a major problem ahead?

if it finds a faster route, it asks if you want to change.

If you care about having the best truck routing get Copilot. If you care about a lot of features get Rand Or Garmin. Thats basically what it comes down to. I have bought and tried them all including Smart Truck Route app and Copilot has the most exceptional routing. This is also one of the reasons Copilot is going onto all new Qualcomms and that says a lot in and of itself.
