I got summoned, and got out of serving by telling them that I was working out of state and could not get time off to return for service. I was excused, told that I would be called again, but never got the call.

i agree 100 percent that people on welfare should be doing jury duty as they love sitting not doing nothing. this is the first time being summoned for jury duty why does it have to be while i'll be out of state

It has been well over several years now. Never signed for anything. No follow up, Nothing. Prove I received a jury duty summons. Life goes on. No thanks @ free token parking and whatever the day rate is.

Last time I served I was on jury duty for 30 days. I was picked for every single case. I didn't know your on the hook for a month until your not picked for the next case. There was a Marine recruiter there. Two of the cases we gave the kids a choice. 9 years in jail or join the Marines first offender program. I'm from NH and these two cases were breaking and entering. A very harsh punishment for this offense. If he washes out of the Marines he comes back for his 9 year jail term.

Almost all my cases were DUI for divorced people. I was considered the ideal person to get them off so the defense always wanted me since I'm also divorced and at the time middle aged.

I got summoned 20 years ago. I never responded. I haven't been hauled off to jail or anything yet.

Man I hope the court doesn't read this.

    Shaggy and Skate-Board Thank this.
