Over at the permian basin,,,artisia=carsbad nm...you dont see no more trafic,,the walmart is not even full,,i belive 30 % to 40% of
people working for oil field got lay off,,its sad man,,,and here locally in el paso tx there is nothig or they whant experience
i only work for 3 months good checks 1000 to 1200 a week pier diem ,housing and meals HALLIBURTON spoliled me,,now i will go over the road,,?????were i dont know -

No, they do not make you pay it back regardless. I worked for Halliburton Frac from July 2014 to November 2014. I did not pay back a dime of my CDL class and they never attempted to make me. I quit and was not laid off. They just have you sign that form in NEO to scare you.

I worked for Halliburton from '80 - '84 out of Cortland, OH camp, long since closed. Back then they'd hire someone with zero driving experience. They were tickled pink to get an applicant with tractor-trailer experience. (This was before the CDL) I filled out my application, had a two minute interview on the spot, and was told, "Dig through that box and find a pair of coveralls that fit you, here's your hardhat and safety glasses, now head out back, your training started an hour ago. You're our new nitrogen transport driver. We'll take care of the details later. Oh, by the way, don't make a habit of being late." Yeah, things were different back then.

I drove through western OK this afternoon. Those yards were full of idle equipment.
