Trans Am Still

Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone. Nothing available in this area for Waste Management, George. Jaso, there are some job openings for the ones you told me about. I looked at Hirschbach too, Honeybadger,.....actually not a bad deal. RBX has always looked good for OTR and I wish we had gone there to begin with. We're going to give him a little time off, I think. If I can afford to feed him! For a skinny feller he sure can wolf down the groceries! He said yesterday that he had given up partying and drinking years ago because he didn't want to die that way, and he wasn't going to die in a truck either. He felt like he was pushed that hard. He likes to drive and he likes to run hard but not that way. When he called me to tell me to come and get him, he said " I just want to come home and spend some time with my kids". They have grown up while he has been out there on the road. Number One Daughter will be 17 in two weeks. I have always kept a list of OTR companies that looked good, but never looked into local much .....guess I will start doing some research. He still wants to drive ....I have always preferred that he do HVAC work.....but it's not my call.

 

HTQ, King, Will be praying for "the " right job opportunity for the king and for financial blessings until that time. I certainly understand how he wants to be home more often. That has to be one of the worst things about trucking, along with the frequent waiting. Hooe he gets plenty of good rest and puts those pounds back on. Best of luck to him. And as to you "pretending" to know the ins/outs of trucking, you may not have been behind the wheel, doing the miles, but you know lots. I'd say you'd do alright at either job (dispatch or recruiting!

They got a message last night and worked for a local photographer today. I can't take their money ....yet ....maybe someday when they are rich and famous!

 

Pete, I am beginning to think that you spend entirely too much time alone in that truck!

Every photographer that they have worked with compares them to Kendall and Kylie Jenner....they have even modeled their clothing line. Today's little session was for some make-up line.
