Yeah, I'm sure he'll be real "hands on" about finding out what went wrong.
Hammer166 and peterbilt_2005 Thank this. -
He sure kept his hands off while the truck was torn apart in Iowa. Didn't read where he personally went up to inspect the engine and find answers. That's what I would expect someone to do that really cared about his "signature" truck.MJ1657, Long FLD, dannythetrucker and 4 others Thank this. -
His only hands on is when he reaches into someone's pocket. That's it! Nothing else!
And why does he pretend as if he's a truck owner hauling freight? Very misleading in my opinion. -
After hearing the audio, while the above is technically accurate, it doesn't accurately portray the message he delivered.
He admits that his not being hands-on involved in every step of the project, and leaving the impression the truck had to be at the CNC meeting, lead to a cascade of errors. At that point it's pure CYA.It will soothe the believers, while painting the doubters as irrational for wanting unknowable answers. We'll never know, there's too many different opinions,
I talked to a 1000 different people about it,
if we don't know for sure, I can't say..Click to expand...

Don't know??... May never know??... Won't know for sure?? lol
What better source and factual evidence of the answers to those questions... than all the actual disassembled components, and core of that engine.
I highly doubt it was melted down and shipped to China for scrap already.
In fact, I'm willing to bet the entire dis-assembly was well documented, in detail, and all parts are still present for examination.
I received significant answers, albeit just scratching the surface of what went wrong in that engine, just by way of a few detailed pics.
That's ok for KR tho. He need not worry about finding answers.
I'm sure the attorneys on the behalf of the owners will provide KR the answers.not4hire, dannythetrucker and Hammer166 Thank this. -
I appreciate KR's little woe is me, the hater's hatin', sorry I'm not perfect, copout apology. But there's some pretty basic questions being avoided and I don't think there is a good reason for it.
Why can't Bruce Mallinson state for the record whether they put Microblue rod and main bearings in or not ? Why can't he produce some documentation like measurement of tolerences or something to show they built the engine correctly. Or, just admit they screwed up and give them a refund.
Why can't Kevin tell us how much money he made off the truck and how much he intends to return to Jeff and Kathy. He put his signature on it, he profited from it. If he's not willing to take some sort of action to make them whole I don't think an apology for not climbing under the truck more goes too far.
It's not some big mystery or hater's not accepting mistakes happen. It's answer the questions, give them their money back. cue the music "I wan't my money back" that should be Jeff and Kathy's theme song, not Rutherford's. -
I can't give you an amen, but you can have all the Darwins you want.
Hammer166 Thanks this. -
Should this go to court, KR will be squeaky clean, PP on the other hand...
Hammer166, popcorn169 and truckon Thank this. -
Of course he will. But theres that court of public opinion. He's tainted now. Like a lot. He got way greedy and now it cost him.Oscar the KW said: ↑Should this go to court, KR will be squeaky clean, PP on the other hand...Click to expand...truckon and dannythetrucker Thank this.
