Still here in Ontario. Woke this morning to see a pplan to pu in PHX and del to Ontario on the 6th. I have not even picked up this one going to PHX and set a pplan as to when available coming off home time. A dm at my terminal said that I could just pick it up early and deliver on Saturday in Ontario and then try and snag one out of CA then. Yeah right, like this is happening. He said that I should have declined it for too much time reason and the times that I could make delivery. He was not even listening to what I was saying. Just talking over me. Trying to explain to him how can the system sent me a pplan when it does not even no my pta. He was saying that the system is showing my PTA for the 1st of April, the same day as my home time. Also got that message that says that this load works for my home time request. My request is Goodyear and the pplan delivered in Ontario. How does that work??

Are you not a L/O now. If you are and you do not have it yet and you have a smart phone I would suggest that you download the Fuelbook app. There are a couple of places just East of El Pasa that always has fuel cheal. Exit 42 and 49. At times between .$25-$.30/gal less.

At the Petro in Beaumont, TX. Waiting for a 1400 pu t-calling in GA. Was supposed to be home in VA today. Been running on recaps without taking a day off for the last five weeks. I need a break. Gonna take three, whenever we get home, then work our way out to SLC to sign our first lease. I'm really looking forward to it.

Why all the way there to sign a lease. Is that where the truck that you want at. I would think Greer would be closer coming out of the house. Or do you have to go to a Central Terminal

At home for a 34. The primary mission for this trip is to clean out 18 months' worth of accumulated crap so the move to a new truck won't take all day. Plus, I have to make space for my co-driver, who will be getting on my truck next month. :)

In KY with next load picking up in OH, then headed for VA for delivery tomorrow.

I put off picking up the load until tomorrow morning because I didn't want to waste a lot of time in Cincinnati rush hour.
As such I'll only have about an hour left on my clock when I deliver.
I got a pplan to pick up 30 miles from delivery at 2000 and deliver the next after day by 0930. 830 miles loaded.
    Not gonna happen.
A Mac 9 is all it took to remove it.

When I called the general lease op number the guy that happened to answer was in SLC, and just like any sales staff they like u to deal with the person u started with. I tried to talk to Michelle in Greer but she didn't want to appear to skate the other guy in SLC. S'okay, I can deal.

At the Atchafalaya Welcome Center off I-10 in Lousiana. I love taking a ten here, usually quiet here over night. I got one of those POS trailers you have to beat into submission in order to slide the tandems. After round three I had it on the ropes, I gave it a left sledge hammer followed by a quick sharp right vice grip and managed to knock it legal. Hope it stays legal for the next guy. This thing's a bear and should be retired. (537498 )

Usually this time of year you can hear the bull alligators bellowing for girlfriends in the middle of the night at that place .
