I am going to be applying to companies soon and I have had one at fault accident two years ago. There was no police record therefore no record on dmv driving record. Is there any way for them to know about it when I am applying for the job?
Can an accident show up if there was no police record of it?

When did you last check your driving record?

If it's not on your MVR I don't see how anyone would find outMeganleigh Thanks this.

It's not on my mvr but I'm just wondering if the company hires me and they have to insure me is there any way they could find out?
-
Like Joseph said I don't see how anyone can find out if its not on your record, but how do you know for sure it is not?
Meganleigh Thanks this. -
If you get towed in a customer mudded parking lot
Some companies consider that a preventable accident. Can follow you on a DAC.
If it was on private property then you need not report an at fault accident.
Why the Werner's always ram their truck into the Budweiser ft Collins wall at high gear.Meganleigh Thanks this. -
don't worry about it, just forget it...if by chance someone asks you about it tell them that it slipped your mind and explain the situation....more than likely they will still not worry about it.
don't ask, don't tell would apply here.....Meganleigh and pattyj Thank this. -
Was there an insurance claim on it? If so, it goes into a database called the CLUE report ( Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Excahnge ) and it may come up in there when they pull your social, etc....if it wasn't bad I wouldn't worry about it. If it was bad get a copy of the report. I am pretty sure Lexis Nexis owns CLUE but do a quick google search and I am sure you can go from there.
