Some companies run coast-to-coast, some Eastern half of USA, some East of the Rocky Mountains.

Millis Transfer - Eastern half of USA.
Earl Henderson Trucking - mostly East of the Rocky Mountains.
CTL Transportation - chemical tankers; lots of chemical plants and lots of coastal runs all along the East Coast and Gulf Coast.

    48 states refrigerated:
    Midwest-coast Transport
    Wil-Trans
    KLLM
    Southern Refrigerated Transport
    Celadon
    Swift

I'd look at what the companies want. Find a good company you want to work for and they'll have a list of recommended accredited schools. Key word, accredited.

Haven't thought about them. I have read the training good, but the paychecks are low. I try to match what a person posts they want, plus where they live. Also what a person posts his/her financial situation is, then if money is tight, I'll put the companies that provide hotel and 3 meals. It's hard to keep up with too many companies.

Was looking at Wil-Trans website the other day and they have some really nice loaded trucks. I know Stevens does to, but I was impressed with Wil-Trans. Freightliner Evolutions and Peterbilts with Tri-pac APU's and other goodies. Ten speed transmissions for those that like to jam gears.

I was impressed by Wil Trans too and.their training is just as thorough as Stevens and no upfront money. They supply Lunch at an local restaurant too. They use the campus inn from Prime Inc for students too.
