Fr8monkey. the 25% doesn't necessarily go to your DM. you got to remember that eagle is financing everything up front with no out of pocket cost to you. my brother pulls flatbed for another company and he takes 74% the company gets the rest.

Well yes,I knw he doesn't get that all....but they are paid a piece of every load....I understand they a doing all that...they are taking a risk as well as me....there's is in the millions mine is in the thousands,lol....I was mostly remarking that a great rate looks pretty good until u factor in there 25% and then add oor miles and dead head....talked to a broker and he had a good rate 1.77 after my dh miles and Eagles 25% it was down to 1.11 😓,I'm learning....

If you don't mind me asking, where are you running? Im with SNI and I get 65% but there are plenty of loads in the northeast that pay well over 2.00 a mile, even some areas outside the northeast, if you guys have access to any kinda load board check and see where all the good rates are and get there

I have some questions for you current Eagle drivers...
How much are you guys netting a week?
What type of trailers do they give you?
What trucks do you guys have because I've been told that only W900 and Pete 579's are available, on the flatbed side.
Are you guys noticing any fuel discounts other than the cash prices?
What brokers are you guys able to use? I talked to Christine and she wasn't too sure other than CH Robinson
What is the buyout on the trailer?
Can your maintenance $ be used on anything or is it a mother may I system?
How are dispatchers out of Knoxville?

Thank you for your answers. An informed decision is better than a blind decision in my eyes. I am local now but was doing a lease deal at Steelman and it paid mileage which was my own fault for doing in the first place, I don't want to make a bad choice again.
