Hey, I have to move that same screen today. I would love to talk to the engineer who designed it about tie down points.

We haul them directly into scrap... they were loaded at the time, so, no torches on the job because of coal dust... Typically have an excavator with a thumb available to make sure we can get them within legal O/S dimensions... this came off a derailment with about 30 different cars in varying degrees of destruction. Several were wrecked badly enough the main-rail of the car was broken in multiple places, some were still mostly there but still damaged and sent to scrap.

Absolutely my company welded some extra d-rings to the sides to make it easier to secure ,my main issue was all the cribbing and block I had to use to get it high enough to go the trailer

The one's that weren't too torn up were able to load sideways with some minimal cribbing, but, the badly damaged ones you had to get inventive with them. No guidebook on how to tie down a rail car.

Cranbrook, dropped it off last Thursday so I'm guessing by your location it's the same one!

Posted these in the flatbed pics but since I have to run yellow solar panels and a high pole car in Washington I guess it may barely qualify for this thread :)

15' 2" high, 38' 4" in the well, 56' 2" trailer and 80' 0" overall. And one big arse tarp.

Here's a side view of the 555 skidder as I'm hauling another one.
