Trimac advertises and I just heard an ad for Wal mart drivers. I don't buy into that if they advertise they are bad, they advertise to get more candidates. The more apps they get the more they can be assured of getting the best hires.

Wal-Mart has alot of drivers coming up on retirement, along with growing business. If you can get in there, do it. Worth it.

There is advertising and then there is ADVERTISING. Schneider falls into the latter. They do it to replace drivers who leave for something better.
Its a much better strategy to retain the good drivers. That's what Walmart and Trimac do. I see Walmart still building stores and as the guy above says are replacing retirees. Superior is turning down freight as I imagine Trimac is doing as well.
IMHO its terrible to outright lie about pay and broadcast it on Sirius radio hundreds of times a day. Thats what Schneider has done for years and continues to do to this day. You yourself have said you do not think 80K is possible as a bulk driver there and you trained for them for years. Why exactly did you leave?
Schneider is a fine place to break into the tank industry if you can't get a job anywhere else. Just expect to make in the 50's gross if you run your ### off. -

Ethos do you have any information about the Rapid City SD Trimac terminal? I'll be attending a CDL school shortly and I know that they do make some exceptions for recent graduates, so I am trying to get some things established and do my information searching now.

No, in fact I didn't even know we had a terminal up there.

They haul fly ash and concrete and gravel to Gillette WY and back but really don't have any other information just yet. I tried calling but couldn't get through to a recruiter
So I just left an online message asking the they contact me. I guess we will see! -
Ethos, what terminals/areas do you run out of the most with Trimac? Also what Canadian terminals/areas do you load the most backhauls out if with them.

I guess I load the most out of Houston. Can't answer the second, varies way too much.
