Agreed. Landers ain't so bad. Sometimes the wait going in can top an hour. My beef with Landers is that is so inconveniently far from any major road that it takes forever to get to.

I'd say my fav is BNSF Corwith. Easy in, easy out. Worst is outside of CN is BNSF Cicero, their layout is just bad with the in/outgate and two lots on opposite sides of the tracks, and if you need a flip done, I hope you brought a sack lunch. You'll be waiting there for a while.

You can hit the CN at the right time...but most times bank on losing at least 1.5 hours. Here in Memphis, the CN and CSX are on the same facility. Compared to the BNSF here...and Union Pacific in Marion AR, they are primitive! The others are somewhat automated and can tell you where your load is, or where to park your empty or chassis. The CN/CSX just gives you an ingate ticket and you have to find a space to park...IT'S BRUTAL!!!

Worst of all...you're driving down the aisles with all the other drivers looking for your container, while some are parking their container...whenever I'm in there my head is on a swivel because many drivesr are just thinking about what they need to do...NOT considering others.

Lastly the yard hustlers are driving around KNOWING you have to yield to them...:biggrin_25511:

I hate that too. One time I was crossing some tracks and this hostler blew a stop sign and blared his horn because I wasn't stopping for him.
