You could always go the Roku or apple TV route as long as you are paying for an unlimited wifi connection at home. Netflix is cheap and lots of channels are free on Roku.
WTF?

I have this (well had since I've got cable now) I was pulling in close to 30 channels. Easy to hookup and well worth the $30 IMO.

Are you using a digital antenna & receiver?
-
She has a new system. Everything is digital these days. Antennas really haven't changed much. Marketing puts them in fancy packages but they still have to pull a signal out of the air.
This will pull in as many channels as the fancy ones if you feel like DYI

Ya, I have a digital/amplified antenna. I ended grabbing another 15' section of cable so I could move it around. As I was adding it I noticed that the copper prong was missing on one end of the original section, so took it out of the equation and now get 23 channels. Too bad 1/3 of them are in Spanish... no hablo espanol!

I use one of those mifi's from Verizon so I can have it OTR too. I'm gearing up to go back OTR and don't see the sense of getting cable / net since I'll rarely be home to enjoy it. Thanks for all the replies though!lovesthedrive and Giggles the Original Thank this.
