New Camera System Coming to all company trucks.

The camera only comes on and records during a critical event. Yeah right! I have several rivers and bridges around the country I'ld like to sell, if anyone is interested. I'll make you a great deal.

 

Can we see the dash cam video of them before we bid please?

 

The bottom line is that SWIFT owns the trucks and can do what ever they want with THEIR trucks, its their privilege. Its your right to work where ever you want (provided people want to hire you).

They can do whatever they want to their trucks, even if its senseless. If you owned a company, or even a truck you could do what you wanted to. Until then as an employee you dont have a choice other then to move along.

If I owned a fleet I would NEVER subject my drivers to this - move on ppl, til its mandated your free to move about the country...

This rumor keeps coming up. One troll says they are doing it and even giving out flyers about it. Then when someone checks the exact spit where the flyers are they do not exsist.

Bottom line is swift cares about money they will not spend money if it does not make money. That's why swift does not have APUs and is why they are swapping to autos. A spy cam system will only cost money for the install and upkeep. Not to mention if they lose even 10% of their drivers they will lose too many contracts.

Also lease trucks are company trucks without the s on the side. No one is dumb enough to lease a trucks with a cam watching the driver.
