After years of psychotherapy, counciling, some heavy duty meds, and a trip or two to rehab (because of the meds) I finally got over my need for self-abuse and haven't been behind the wheel of a cab-over since.

If i had to choose between a flattop and one off the bigger EU COE....................no contest, the COE wins.
Even in most midroof EU COE's you can stand up.:yes2557:

That's because we drove 1970's and 80's cabovers... 😃 Some of us have no knowledge of modern luxury liners. No matter what year they are you like them or you don't, some folks have trouble judging their distance in them, they are like a baby and a boob to me, natural. I give a thumbs up to anyone that wants to at least experience the ride in one.

And the DAF is the budget EU truck. You should see the new Merc Actros or Volvo FH. Those are miles ahead of any NA truck if you don't look the sleeper space.

daf is cheaper than other competition, but i think daf is good value,

in my opinion new volvo looks good only on photos , in real materials look cheaper than on previous models....

i think when it comes to interior nothing can be compared with daf

everthing is solid and robust, even on our bad roads there is no noise in plastics,

no bad spots, textile is dark you cant see if it is not clean, floor easy to clean, seats are pretty durable, only bad thing i notice is steering wheel is sensitive on alcohol

lower bed is good upper not,

there is enough space for all stuff,

maybe dash is too much in interior this really take lot of space.

backrest in seat can get clearance that can be annoying

i dont like way how they put , rev meter it confuse , i am used on 1500 in vertical pos. on new model it is bit different than before but still not ok

before daf cab used to rust in specific places, i notice on new ones they fix some of those problems
