I have been doing some research as I get ready to embark on the trucking industry. I have an interview today with a company. They will "pay" for my CDL training at Drive 160 academy. When I am finished, I will be at their mercy for until I pay off the bill for the schooling. This is not a huge company like Prime or CR England. I have been told I will be home daily and make pretty good money. Does this sound too good to be true? If so, what suggestions do you all have for me? Thanks in advance for the comments.

How much is the training? How are they paying for it? What is the definition of "pretty good money"?
Need some details.
Good luck. -
The training is $4000, and the pay is @ 60K.

Never be at any entities mercy. You had better have a very clear understanding of what theis company will expect of you. Are you locked in while they pay you .22 ¢ per mile and expect you to cook your books and run like a dog at the track? How much per week will they take from your check? How much do they pay per mile? Will you realistically get 60K? Do their guarantee a minimum number of miles? What happens if you want out and still owe them money? Just some legitimate questions to ask.
