OKC is actually a small terminal but they run just as much if not more freight then bigger terminals, My brother in law says they're losing drivers to the oilfields, he worked in Midland/Odessa terminal acouple yrs ago because every single driver and dock person quit to go to the oilfields, when he got down there it was him and 2 of the terminal managers running it for almost a month, he would have moved there but his wifey said NO, he made great money down there. When my husband get on he'll likely been running the OKC to Tulsa run or up to Clarksville,AR. They'e linehauls are Dallas,Abilene, Clarksville, Springfield, Tulsa I think there acouple more. Abilene from what I here is the best to get on, you have just enough time to get there drop trls and re-hook new trls up, Most of the other ones you work their docks for alittle bit if they need you too.
Hopefully NTAT you'll be safe and not get let go, but if it does come to that, Good luck in whatever direction you go !!

Went to auctioneer school last night.
....got tired of ppl looking right at me and not taking my bid. They'll regret that when I come in at a 5% less commission and they have no gigs.
Revenge is a good motivator
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Change of plans, had to relay load in Paducah,KY O/O ran out of hours won't get any till midnight on Wednesday so now we're headed to Searcy,AR lost 522 miles, hoping they are going to replace it with something good.
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Hmmm....peducah to Searcy....I feel I've been that way before.
XD
Visit the sonic for me in bald knob.
Sure they miss the tips.
Almost new loves by those walmarts ain't horrid but I prefer the exon. Cheaper...paul_4lp Thanks this. -
Well delivered to Lowes now off to Batesville,AR to Bad Boyz Mowers then down to Waco,TX, they said load was to be picked up tomorrow but called Bad Boyz and they said sure come on over, so if you ever get a load pickup there you can always come over early as long as it's before 3pm. Hoping for a non Texas bound load out of Tractor Supply but not going to hold my breath, at least we'll be there an day early

I tripped out the first time I saw those things on racks inside a trailer. Thought it was neat as hell. Always liked going there they got me in and out usually or kept the line moving at least.
I usually got the Kansas city loads out of there. You got the bad boy draw on them mowers. Then again you have the chance of a tire unload in kc. 1mi dispatch screw u over type deal.
Tsc you just sit there so ain't so bad.
If I was a dispatcher my motto would be... it could be worse not sit tight. Little bit of a threat and truth xDCMBreen Thanks this. -
The first time we went there got a load to TSC Waverly which wasn't bad, but I hate coming to TSC Waco at the end of the week & low on miles, as of right now we're at 1450 for the week, need another 1000-1500 miles to have a decent week, dropped load a day early so hoping that if we get a Texas bound load it will deliver Friday morning and still have time to get something else

CargoWahgo and double yellow Thank this. -
Well good luck with that.
Be nice if there was a dented trash can and they reject it. Making you run it all the way back to Minnesota. Just the one trash can.
I've gone from Laredo back to Houston with one tank of hazmat that the cage got dented on the way no leaks. Its possible lol. Hazmat trashcan !!CMBreen Thanks this. -
Got lucky and some how managed not to get a TSC load, instead we are headed to La Porte,TX to pickup a load to take to Abbeville,SC close to 1200 miles total bringing our total for the week to 2580 works for us, Have a great weekend !!!
wulfman75 and double yellow Thank this. -
Score!!!
As in the words of the great Justin beiber-
"Never say never"
Got my trl hooked up for this weekends truck washing venture after my triple header. I had to call interference on myself last night.
Bumped the catchers hand while making my mechanic for a strike. Second time that's ever happened xD oops. Sucks for the away team they prob would have scored a run that inning and ended up losing on a walkoff single after the home team gave up two runs blew the save in the top.
