    Most trucking companies do not offer a pension.

    Some grocery companies still offer pensions. And are great jobs.

    Slacker! Just kidding! My father had a civil service pension plus an Army pension for disability due to WWII. He wanted to be career Army and made it to 6 yrs. before being wounded and medically discharged.

    I drove an 18 for the Dept of Veterans Affairs, 2 tractor trailers and a straight truck deliver to all of the facilities in New England. I drove 70,000 miles a year and loved my job,but there is more to life than work and I'm enjoying this new chapter
