It will be real interesting to see what my Big Red L/S gets in fuel mileage, I know it won't be as good as the 2015 Cascadia I came out of. But once I find the sweet spot for this ISX, tires get some wear on them, and I get better at handling the ole girl, the fuel mileage should improve over time.
Anybody know when the Eagle load board will be up and running? I guess I could ask my DM Monday when I take my maiden voyage.
Loke Thanks this. -
Ive been reading rumors about that load board since November. I'm sure they're working on it but it may be a lot longer than even they know. Sounds like a lot of coding. Not to mention what would be on it? Eagle is to new to have a great number of contracts.rmacjr Thanks this.

Those of you using your DM as your primary load source, do they keep you where you want to run?
Those of you using the brokers, is it because your DM failed to keep you running the way you want to run?
My D.M. didn't even mention brokers or a broker list, and at the time I forgot to talk to him about it, it's been crazy for both new drivers and Eagle last week, I have my truck, but no fuel card, I got done too late on Friday, so I had to stay at the 5 star La Quinta till Monday to finish up.Loke Thanks this. -
Really can we just ban this guy already? 6 posts and in everyone he calls someone stupid or dumb. Can't compose a sentence properly, and is only here to bash drivers and Eagle.
88 Alpha and Kryptonite82 Thank this. -
Don't be complaining driver we tried to tell you.....lol....we tried...that DM controls you.....you can only do what he allows....wow...smh...so there's no going around him....he determines in u fail because all the loads go through him, plus you ain't getting on no load board without his approval list or not if he wants to control you he will....you all are just company drivers man with Shiney new trucks...lol
-
First of all driver, I am not complaining, I just started, I am asking two very simple and easy to understand questions, if no one can answer them or don't want to answer them for whatever reason, that is fine I will find the answers another way.
And yeah, I do like my big shiny new truck because most of us don't have the credit, the down payment for the truck, down payment for the insurance, our own authority, our own trailer, money in the bank to cover expenses at home and on the road for about a month, and good solid broker connections, if you have all that, then good for you. -
Who is your DM? They only care about how much money you can mae them watch your setlementsfr8monkey Thanks this. -
His name is B. Thomas.
Are you a current Eagle driver?
All trucking companies are interested in one thing, how much money you, whether you are company or lease driver, can make for them, I get that I just want a piece of the pie too. From earlier posts everybody sounded like they were using brokers, now nobody wants to talk about them, so do I take from that- that no one is actually using them? I stand to be corrected.fr8monkey Thanks this. -
yes the problem child on this thread has been dealt with. There is always that 10% that wants to cause problems.
As far as the broker list and using it, I will be traveling onto Knoxville tomorrow to get my trailer. I should have more info to pass on soon. I do have a list of brokers, but have not used them yet. Hopefully will be setting up with a few on Tues.truck medic, rmacjr, Loke and 2 others Thank this.
