PTL is one of the lowest paying companies out there. With so much to choose from, why would anyone work for them?

There is a lesson here. If you feel you must or want to lease, do some research and at least find a reputable company. Don't lease with a sleaze company.
Lease + Sleaze = driver failure. EVERY TIME.

It's just another second chance company that predictably takes advantage of their driver's predicament. Bottom feeders.

    :confused1:
with that being 3 months ago, i wonder if they've suddenly changed recently. i spoke with 2 female recruiters about bad feedback i saw / heard & they both said there's going to be bad feed on any company. it's usually the drivers who cause issues & PTL doesn't tolerate treating drivers wrong; they're usually the ones who stir unnecessarry trouble. they made goods point, yet this reminds me of a paradox. im unsure who to believe :confused1:

..i 2nd that, but 1st i'd write them a letter stating im contemplating a lawsuit & warn that if they don't reimburse me, i'd take civil action

i sure hope the 2 girls didn't. they sounded sincere & innocent, yet i think there's a reason why most recruiters i spoke to were girls..

considering 1 like me who was particular & wasn't fully aware of how important it was to take advantage within 6 months / 180 days after finishing school & join a company, it leaves little room for options. i tried to go the local route, yet that wasn't easy. experience pays off & increases chances of being hired @ a job of your choice. so far, PTL, Schneider, McElroy, Western Express [hate to refer them ], & US Express are some of the only companies that'll hire inexperienced CDL holders

my recruiter that wants to hire me said PTL pays for layover / detention & they give good miles. i don't know the story of shop time if that's irrelevant to layover / detention, but if you'd like to speak with her or PTL, i can pm the #. maybe u can sense if im being jived!

sorry for the delay but u did the right thing, unless they are willing to pay extra. i did the same, but with a dealership. it's not fair to make $ off folks without reimbursing them. these companies want human robots to work. like They Live, they don't want u to think, only act. this is modern day slavery. im typing an ebook about it
