I made it up here on time (early) but I had to wait for a door without a dock lock, because of my lift gate being in the way. After this I go get some craft beer and head to GR

I need to do the same. The State of Michigan has called and they want their information...tomorrow. I gently explained how I'm in west Texas and my company has kept me out since the last week of March without a visit home to set the truck up and get important paperwork mailed...The lady was nice and gave me a reprieve until May 15.
Right there is one very good reason to control your own loads and destiny!Wickedfire77 Thanks this. -
Can't wait to be able to pick my own loads . A nice triangle and back home more often.

Taking 8 at the shipper so I can do on time delivery. Then I'm getting this darned AC fixed! (And watching the Avengers movie (probably a few times)

Lately, I always end up back in GR on Fridays . It would be great if I lived close by to go home every weekend for at least a night.

The bonus about an 8 hr split is if I get tired , I can take a 2 hr nap and still be ok for the most part. Although I'll be the first to admit , I'd rather be a solar powered driver than doing these over nights.

I arrived in GR on time, but I guess. It's at the receivers leisure to get here to unload. Kind of a crock . Wtf are appt times for then?

They are there so they can charge you when you are not on time. Same as a doctors office.popcorn169 and Wickedfire77 Thank this.

This next load will be the 1st time I will pull a load thru the house with this company , on my way to the U.P. For Monday. So I need to fuel up now, as there are few modern truck stops up there .

Or places to park a truck. Once you past the Bridge, it's pretty rustic, though I do recall ending up at one of those rest areas and falling asleep to the sound of the waves...and nothing else. That was nice.
