I found a pdf application nys dmv hazmat and it's the same as the tsa. If I get mine I definitely think u should try it out. I'll let u kno as soon as I get an answer. I contacted a guy from tsa sta and explained my sit nd he said should be ok. Only thing is they might wanna see more info proving I was successfully discharged. Idk how ez that can be to get tho. I kno several people with disqualification felonies and they have one regardless.
I was hauling sand during the boom to frac sites nd that was a gold mine. Several crude haulers quit to haul sand. Only wished I didn't wait til the sand boom was done to try cuz I've had several opportunities

Besides here on the forum try your states EDD, (employment develop department) the usual sources for job listings and your favorite search engine for trucking companies that hire felon's.. They're around.. You don't need hazmat to be productive or employed as a driver, try local sources for local jobs too.. All the endorsements aren't mandatory

    Buffalo Bill Thanks this.

I jut finished school and one of my fellow students was a kid with a recent 2nd-degree assault conviction. terrific kid, getting his act together. He got a good job with a small, local company before he even graduated. Second-degree assault in this state is considered a VERY serious violent felony. If HE got a job, so can you.
