A couple of years ago I got stuck on a Home Depot load, almost had it happen again today. If your running late, they will not unload you. This is mainly at the DC, not the stores so much.

So they're like Walmart DC you have to reschedule?
-
At the stores they're usually walkin out the door at 3:50 (rec closes at 4pm). Get there by 3:30 and you should be fine. My company does d & h at the dc so there's no real "appointment".. I've heard Home Depot is strict, though.

Lowes as we'll but most large retail Dc are like that now I was lucky and unlucky at the same time I was freaking 8 minutes late at lowes on a flatbed load and I had to wait 8 hrs to get loaded appt was at 8 and was check in and Bol stamp late at 8:08. I was told they would put me on the end of their "supposedly" list and I'm lucky they would get to me today after all loads were done or I would have to reschedule. Lol wasted 8 hrs of my day and my evening load at 1 had to be reschedule for 8 the following day. The moral of the story is don't be late, regardless if you are on time and waiting in a line of trucks to get check in as I was doing. Smh

And people wonder why big rigs get wrecked, People push so they dont have to deal with jacked up shippers and receivers.

I'm sitting at a Lowe's right now. Load is no touch. Negotiated up front. Lowe's wants me to unload it and won't touch it. This will be my last trip to a Lowe's.
-
Lol, negotiated with who? If it was your dispatcher you should have known better.

It depends on the location and who is in charge. The Home Depot DC in McDonough, GA worked me in on a load that was late.
