I want to stop and have a chance to meet you Peedah. If for no other reason, so I can speak in my fun impersonation of a New England accent!

Peedah = Peter in my fun impersonation of a New England accent.

Alrighty then .....you all have asked for it .....everyone is just too quiet. Now you get to hear a very long detailed description of my day ....do you hear my evil laughter?

I had to take care of some business today that required me to dress for the occasion. My tiara and cheetah print high heels. It took a search party to even find said cheetah print high heels because the Queen does not do high heels! Now comes the long boring part .....the explanation for why I do not wear them.....even though they would help my short little legs look longer. :yes2557:
Problem Number One started at a very young age. I had an extra artery that pumped blood into my heart, because of this my heart could not pump all of the blood properly and my heart enlarged. ( See .....the Queen really does have a big heart! :biggrin_25525:) This caused circulation problems and my legs were affected. I became quite used to being carried around ....as was my due considering I was a princess.
The second problem started as a teenager when I had a love affair with motorcycles ....until the wreck and seven months in therapy because I tore up my left knee..... and then , of course, there were the stitches in my right knee because the left leg gave out and I fell and split the right knee open. :biggrin_2552:
Problem Number Three...... an evil ex-husband that was supposed to be pulling out of the driveway, looked in his rearview mirror and saw me standing there and put the car in reverse .....and ran over my feet. ....enough said.
And finally, my love of martial arts .....and the broken bones that go along with that type of competition.
So, there you have it .....my reasons for this hatred toward uncomfortable footwear. If and when you see the Queen wearing high heels you will know two things ....she means business .....and she is in an extremely bad mood and looking to take it out on someone!

Also, it had the audacity to be raining! Remember? The Queen does not know how to work the windshield wipers on her car! :biggrin_2551: The good news is that I finally figured them out ....after about 15 minutes of driving ....in the rain.... Right on schedule as I figured out how they worked ...it stopped raining. Now I have to figure out how to turn the freaking things off!!! ....Another eternity ....

And do you think my day's adventures ended there? Oh no, no no. I came home, took care of some chores, fixed dinner and had just sat down to relax when I heard a familiar screeching. We have a huge blue jay that has decided to kill everything that he possibly can. He swoops down and attacks whatever is in his territory. I usually go out and run him off and try to save whatever bird or creature he has decided to bully and maim. I go outside and he is attacking a dove in the front yard. Most of the time when he sees me coming after him he flies off. This time he flies up into the big oak tree and starts screeching at me! :biggrin_25516: I started screeching back and telling him what an evil bird he was. Then he swoops down towards me .....and attacks a six foot long snake that was in the yard right beside my feet!!!!

There you have it ....my long boring story about my day. Panhandle thinks I am afraid to tell you what car I bought.....it is not very practical ....but truly I don't think you all care one way or another .....and besides the car had to find a new home somewhere ....remember the guy was going to prison ....anyway, here it is.

Ooooooh, Queenie got a Jag. Made my delivery to Lowes at 1430 yesterday. Did not get job at Shaffer, but don't cry for me. It wasn't really a good fit for me. I am not doing a sleep apnea test and paying $900 for a cpap machine. Being forced to stay out 21 days was not was I (or Jungho) was looking for. I would have gotten a slower truck with none of the amenities I enjoy now. I would have probably been running the northeast much more than I would have wanted. Short haul reefer is a horrible lifestyle (I hear). 46cpm is great pay but at how many miles? Theres a reason for the higher cpm. Probably would have burnt out in six months and then end up somewhere else. Currently at the Rockwall yard. Gotta get a B PM (oil change). Then a 3pm pickup in Fort Worth headed to Odessa (Family Dollar) TX. Due Friday night but will deliver tonight. Gotta salvage 2000 miles on this paycheck after the horrible start last weekend. Oh well keep smiling and driving. Deuces.

I know, Pete ......and I knew you had a Mercedes. It is so totally not going to get out of this driveway in the winter. Might drive it for the summer and sell it. I got a good enough price that I should be able to almost double my money. ......It sure is fun to drive! :biggrin_25519:

Pete is right about the repair bills on that thing. Any parts needed have to come from Germany. I would sell it before anything breaks and before winter arrives.Or you will never get rid of it.
