I'm going to save it up, just for you, before the next/last big race there.
Then I'll roll into town and it'll be like 10,000 stink bugs was squished for everyone.
It'll so distract the other drivers that Danica wins the championship, even though she hadn't made the Chase, just because females can stand the pressure that much better than males.
She will be so attracted to those pheromones that she laps every other driver by 12, just to get to me after that final lap, and NASCAR will have no option but to award her the title.
And from that point forward, she won't be wearing a dress.
She will be wearing a cape!
Top that, if you can.

At a rest area on I65 somewhere in northern IN.
Drop this one in Joliet early in the morning and hustle up I355 to pick up a preloaded trailer to drop at a WallyWorld DC a couple hours west of Chicago on I88. Then hustle back to Chitown to pick up another preloaded trailer for a live unload down in Scottsville, a little east of Bowling Green.
Coming up I65 from Birmingham was a nightmare of relentless traffic and construction, not to mention idiot 4-wheelers. Turned into a parking lot for an hour about 20 miles south of Louisville. 3 lanes down to one so a couple guys could patch a small hole in the slow lane!! Why the hell can't they do those little jobs at night!!! I have to go back down I65 tomorrow again for my second load..aarrrrgh!!! -

At lancaster, was severely overdue for b service and have a coolant leak in aux heater under bunk. I was surprised, I expected to be here for days. They got the b service done in about 5 hours from check in and told me time wise I was better off going to a dealer and asked if I wanted to do that so I could get out of here instead of waiting another 2 to 3 days. After picking my jaw up off the floor I said ok, they took me off shop status and I went to trailer shop they got me in immediately to get 2 lights fixed and one new tire.
I am going to go back otr, I have had the last straw with this new dedicated acct after having a barely over 100$ paycheck last week. Oh well, I tried.HousTank Thanks this. -
I think she would look really cute wearing just a cape.

Been pretty busy lately. Last Friday night, I witnessed another hit and run at the Love's just north of Louisville on I-65.
I had parked next to a USA truck who thanked me for parking next to him so he didn't have to worry about getting "hit". Later on, two more trucks came in and parked next to me. The 2nd one down from me, on the end, got his right fender and lights taken off by a truck. Unfortunately, I didn't get my glasses on quickly enough to make out anything except for the company name on the trailer, Star. I did see that instead of making a right turn to leave the lot, he went left as if to come back around or park.
I ended up walking the lot with the guy who got hit looking for the Star truck. Didn't see it on the first pass but ran into the USA truck driver again when we went inside to call the police. Went back out to the damaged truck to wait for the police, and I walked to check a part of the lot that we had skipped over in our initial pass. Lo and behold, there was a Star truck nosed into a spot. We checked the trailer for fresh damage and there was a fair amount.
In the morning, the guy that was hit ended up buying me breakfast and told me that the Star driver was getting charged with a hit and run. Bout the only thing that really peeved me off about the situation, was the USA truck driver kept telling other drivers that he was the one who found the Star truck.... no, I saw it happen, and I found the friggen truck. You just helped verify the fresh damage on the trailer.OceanDan, Rattlebunny, HousTank and 2 others Thank this. -

McCammon, ID FJ, taking an extended 10.
My plans to quickly get to OKC to turn in my truck and get my trainee off the truck so I can work in the oil fields got delayed. The load plan from Redding area to Kansas City earlier this week got cancelled, the 4th load cancelled on me in the last week. Tried Mac-30 dozens of times with nothing. Got a load offer running down to LA area and turned it down. Finally got a preplan running up to Jeld-Wen in Choquitlan, OR with stops in Twin Falls and SLC and took that.
This morning had stops in SLC at 10:00, 12:00, and 14:00. Parked last night at the first stop and walked into receiving at 08:00 and they said, "Come on in". Offloaded one pallet and headed to next stop two miles away and got another pallet unloaded. Final, with most of the trailer load, also took us early. So instead of pulling out of SLC in rush hour we were running toward Idaho Falls deadheading before noon, stopped early here at the FJ because my trainee has a shower credit, the parking is wide open, it's 60ºF, the day is beautiful, and it's a good place to shower, do laundry, and hang out until our live load tomorrow at 14:00 that t-calls in OKC.
If anyone has tips or tricks for going through the process of turning in a truck and quitting I'm all ears. Hoping to get the trainee formally off the truck Monday morning and turn in the truck so I can do orientation at ACME on Tuesday.Kindle Thanks this.
