Just a question. What happens if you fail the company road test? Do they put that on your DAC? I'm not talking about going through training with a company, just "road testing" with them before they even do the drug screen.

Why would they do a road test before knowing if you have drugs in your system or not?
jamesm6464, Streamer, joseph1135 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not sure. I was told the road test is at 9 am with the safety guy and the drug test is at 2 pm along with the physical abilities test.
mje Thanks this. -
I've taken road test before drug testing before.
-
What trucking company is the road test going to be with?
-
As long as you don't mow down a State Trooper or flip the tractor trailer, if it's nothing but minor issues, it'll will more than likely just stay with the company, and more than likely, you'll get a chance to retest......unless you're caught with the boss's daughter....or something similar.
mje and Steel Maverick Thank this. -
Doug Andrus out of Idaho Falls. Smaller company but willing to train on flatbeds.mje Thanks this.

yah not sure how you can fail a company driving test. its left, right and maybe backup. unless you run into a brick wall it has to be hard to fail
mje Thanks this. -
I don't know, I'm sure I'm over thinking it. Limited time in a 10 speed fresh out of CDL school. I don't know if they are looking for safety issues or how proficient my shifting needs to be? Again I was just curious what happens if you fail a road test?
