DD15 no throttle response in top gear

So it turns out the soft cruise is disabled in the truck but the tech said the Qualcomm can overide ecm settings...

I wouldn't want the Qualcomm to override anything like that. They run the QC system in debug mode so all the memory gets filled up with useless info and runs sluggish.

Do you have Qualcomm in that truck also?

 

Hi guys. I have Cascadia 2011 DD15 and NO DEF. After the engine warms up ad driving on interstate half hour it starts to loose power and black smoking when you accelerating... no codes, no check engine light. I see two mechanics (tested on computer) and no one couldn't figure it out what is going on. Any ideas? Tnx

If your Jake and Cruise don't work and you have a erratic Throttle Response it's most likely your Accelerator Pedal and or Sensor is worn out and needs to be replaced.

 

Pass smart?

 

If she cuts off at 60mph, it gov at 60 mph... not 65 mph .

Speed may be off too.

Electronic connections maybe need to be cleaned or the peddle to wore out and needs to be replaced.

 

Is driver reward set up by chance? Sounds like it might be set for 60 mph and lets you go 65 when he driver reward conditions are met.
