I just bought a 2000 t800 with a c12 in it. I believe it already has the fuel temp resistor mod and the boost resistor mod. The boost mod is laying between the valve covers, so i think thats what it is. Anyways, this truck smokes a lot on the low end until the turbo lights. I do not like all that smoke. I am wondering is it the boost mod that is causing the smoke or the fuel mod? I haven't taken them apart, i was told they are just resistors put into the ends of the plugs that can be taken out easily. Should that be the case or do i need to cut out resistors and re connect the factory wiring?
