Trans Am Still

No key today, but I called road assist. They say tomorrow at 11 am. Spent a relaxing day at the hotel. Researching companies and playing on facebook. Some highlights, 2500 sign on with JS Helwig. $1000 with Hirschbach plus free DirectTV. Nice!! I like Magnum too. Cargo Transporters is the only company (that I am considering) with automatics. If I want fewer days out, Big G, Cargo, Epes. All have a pet policy except Cargo. Best Miles- Helwig, and Magnum. Trips to Florida (visit my family) Helwig. Any feedback is appreciated. Just waiting on my DAC.

 

Thanks, HB and HTQ. I had a fairly good day. One of my daughters was going to take me out to eat today, until drafted Murphy of Murphy's Law interfered. She was prepared to leave her home in Chesapeake, when she heard water dripping incessantly. Long story short, she had to buy a new hot water heater and had a large mess to clean up! I did fix a nice lunch for Mom and my baby brother ate with us. I also took a long afternoon nap (nice)!

 

Definitely going to take getting used to. Like others have said, not very phone friendly.

In Dutch Flat, Ca. for the night. 3 deliveries tomorrow then I will see what is next. Think I might be in Ca. for a few days then back to Wi. but one never knows.

My babygirl will be joining me on my next trip and if I cross paths with HB I will get her to tire out the stripy dog. LOL

Hey everyone, happy belated mothers day. hope all is well. I got offered a full time driving position at the company I'm @ for $15.50 with killer OT, Paid at time and a half. Just last week I made just over 58hrs. I'm still eligible for 90days evaluation which hopefully should boost me up to $16 or $16.50. Everyone be safe out there!

 

Hi travis! It is so good to hear from you and know that things are going well ....And that you are driving! You worked hard for that cdl and it is nice to know that you are getting to use it! We are all still here on the forum....just plugging along, and helping when we can. Keep checking in with us every once in awhile. We all enjoy hearing from you . We're happy for you ......you've done us proud!

I originally thought that someone had put it out there to cause injury to me or the girls .....but I had 2 neighbors tell me that it is some redneck thing to cripple the animal that they are trying to chase down. The neighbor behind me found the same thing on their property when their horse came in with it's leg all torn up.

To me it has nothing to do with hunting and everything to do with poaching.
