Well here's my courage for the day: Hi my names Jane and my husband and i are nubies...
got our CDL's from Las Vegas, but originally from colorado
6mo OTR company driving dry van and refer
Very interested in business- step-drop deck/flatbed
In our 20's no kids no family no home/bills
feeling very held back by fleet driving- excited organized and ready to become first time o/o's.
...or so we think. >There is so so so much to learn; i know well be Great!

We have impoved and grown so much in 6mo- im so impressed with our skill improvement both physically and mentally. our problemsolving intuition and critical thinking is much stronger then when we started and we're having a blast> the stress is finally going down as we learn about ourselves, the industry, and the road.

Found this forum site and couldnt be more grateful for all you guys here!
There are lifetimes of information out there and its probably the best thing we can do to meet experienced drivers like you! Ive already found so many answers and tips here to things weve been struggling with and am getting even more excited for this lifestyle. i think were addicted ;)

We never know when well have internet access, but i hope we can get to know some of you. "Hi", and "Thank you."

    Welcome to the TTR forum!

The jump to O/O is best taken after many months or years learning the trucking business. You summed up the TTR best with the bold sentence in your quote.
