For those of you who dont know about Maverick Specialized. We Haul Glass. Im a new drv. for Mav. and i must say this, they train you right and they dont leave you hanging if you have a problem. Maverick as a company really cares about there drivers. There pay is excellent and so is there trucks and equipment. They are very professional at the way they run the company and they want only professional drivers. So Id recomend if you have a professional attitude, and you are pro.drv. and a good drv. record, call them up. They hire new drv's also.

NO IM NOT ADVERTIZING = Just passing along information.

Ok, this may be a stupid question, but I got Terminated from Maverick LLC, and they put a do not hire tag on my file. Would Maverick Specialized also refuse to hire me as well. I am asking this because I believe they are two separate company's.

I got the green light from maverick and I am going to orientation the weekend after Fathers Day! I'm not sure what to expect! This is going to be a whole new beast for me! I'm on layoff from carhauling - people aren't buying full size trucks- gee I wonder why? Hopefully this works out!!

Well, does anyone know if that would also make it so I can't lease from them, or buy a truck and have them broker loads?

Just finished week 1 out with driver trainer. Was a good week, and I got lots of time driving. I'm really happy Maverick Specialized took me on, and enjoy the challenges of securing & tarping-overwhelming at times, but hey, I'll get there! Don't enjoy the sweating & limited showers, but learning to adjust:biggrin_25520: Gotta work on backing up--still frustrating! Will try to keep posting on my progress.
