I started buying aftermarket tanks from (I think) alumtech they are built better than the oem ones. and seem to not corrode as bad.

That is the reason I never had a truck with top draw-top return. That pickup tube takes a beating with a half tank of fuel slouching around. Bottom draw-top return is the only way to go. I think this is all on peterbilt,

Bottom draw is OK until a recap rips it off at about 2am. The cap laid on edge stretched across two lanes for its' total length.

Hey guys I need some help Please
I have a 120 Gal Split fuel/hydraulic tank on the right side of my W900. I want to by pass the fuel portion until I can take the tank off of the truck to get it repaired.
Is it alright to connect the fuel draw and fuel return lines together temporarily until the tank can be removed and repaired?
Or should I just cap them?
The reason for this is so I can still use the hydraulic portion of the tank.Last edited: Sep 19, 2018

Cap each line individually.
