how many of you truckers use the waze app for police?

I'm gonna check it out!

 

There's icons for cops, accidents, disabled vehicles, etc that users click as they pass by.

 

So yet another app that distracts drivers from keeping their eyes on the road?
And worse, tempting them to text while driving to report such 'useful' information as to where a cop might be?

I don't worry about cops a mile in front of me, or right behind me, because I drive LEGAL!
I look ahead to keep me informed, and use my CB for other useful information.

 

Agreed. I tried it...to much of a distraction for me.

 

Yeah, I agree with you guys about the distraction. I'm new to this, and not even through the training yet, so the last thing that I want or need is something that could distract me from mastering this new challenge.

 

I'll just use the cb and radar detector you know old school.

 

good looking i do 62 on the highway the last thing i need is barney fife pulling me over and giving me a reckless driving ticket

 

No telling how many bird dogs I have lost, or will loose in the future. They are getting higher. It blows me away that a cell phone app is believed to be better than channel 19
