So there you go, I was right all along, he GETS A BONUS to get dummies to go l/o.!!

Which IS WHY he's pushing the o/p to go l/o.

A bonus is a bonus.....if the trainer (current l/o) does NOT push the l/o plan on a student, he LOSES OUT on a much needed bonus to make up for his meager weekly settlement.

There would be MORE bonus money to the current l/o over say an ordinary company driver job instead. Has to be, otherwise, it would not make any sense for a current l/o to even consider pushing a newbie into it.

You missed the point purpleprime was trying to make. The trainer gets the same bonus whether the student goes company or lease. Essentially, it's a bonus for having a student graduate to a solo driver. Whether the student decides to lease or stay with the company, the trainer gets paid as long as the student doesn't quit before his first solo run.

There is going to be more incentive for a l/o to have a newbie " sign up" over an ordinary trainer. Otherwise, it makes no sense for a current l/o to have a newbie behind the wheel of a truck he is paying for.

Run company for a while, like a year or more to learn how things are done. And more importantly what kind of commitment it takes to make a lease financially successful!

One of the major negatives is substantial loss of family time.

That's funny; I was just going to post the same, then saw you beat me to it. That's the correct answer.

Don't do the lease. He's only telling you because the more students he recruits to the lease the less he has to pay on his. It's on the companies website. :fart:

Last summer someone had posted an even better link with the complete breakdown on how the lease referral works. Looking for it.
