I understand that your referring to times when nobody else is around. So was I. And more often than not, I'll drop my foot off the throttle with the jake on when they get too close. Usually get a one finger salute too. LOL

No, it isn't the "supertrucker " way. It is the "I've got my head up my ### and don't give a #### about anybody else on the road" way. 4 wheelers are more apt to do it than big trucks...only difference is you'd THINK the big truck driver would know better. Then again, often times when I'm passing somebody with nobody coming up behind me, they are flashing their lights the second my ICC bumper clears their nose. Seriously? Are you ASKING me to cut you off? No thanks...I'll give you a little more space before I slide over.

I had a rather new SUV zip past me the other day, cut me off, and then slow down. Luckily, I was in my beater pickup so I didn't GAF...changed to the left lane, passed him, and for every foot he left me, I gave him an inch. Then I lifted off the throttle and stuck my middle finger out the rear window. He backed off BIG TIME and didn't pass me again.

If you want to pass me, pass me and be on your way. Don't cut me off. Leave me some space when you come back over...especially if nobody is coming up behind you. If you want to drive slower than me, just stay behind me. It really isn't all that difficult.

All depends on your definition of "Super Trucker". The mentality we're discussing fits with my definition.

I call them retained 4 wheelers. Cause thats what they are, drivers who never learned to drive truck, their still behind the wheel of a car in their head. Their the same ones you see in the ditch on a flat stretch of road on a sunny day . Or wheels in the air on an off ramp.

It's worse when you're in a truck that can do the posted speed limit. In 75 mph zones I'll pass almost everyone in sight except for a few owner operators.

Then when you get into a 45 mph construction zone all those governed trucks I just passed ends up passing me.

that's not the fun part the fun part is when u pass a driver and when ur almost past him they decide to speed up then slow down then speed up and you can't get back over

i run hwy 83 between bismarck nd and minot a lot. speed limit is 70 but there are a number of small towns that drop the limit to 50-55 and one down to 45 for a few miles happens all the time to me on that stretch of road pass a governed truck come up on a reduced speed zone. and mr governor runs right by still on the speed limiter. speed limit goes back up and i pass them again. its a bit annoying but at least i know if the local yokel is watching the highway ill cruse right on by.

I'll say one thing I do and I'm not scared to admit it when there's an accident ahead on a 2 lane east or 2 law west and one is closed cause an accident I'll stick this big beast in most of the lane to keep them ######## from passing if I have to wait you have to wait
