Just when I thought it was safe to come to dry van, I get an Anheuser Busch load here in Jacksonville. Got here at 5 yesterday afternoon, load not ready, no biggie I was on my 14th hour, dropped my trailer bobtailed to Loves a few miles away. Its noon now still not ready. Ah memories of meathouses past. Uy Vey.

 

There are times that we get discouraged and wonder if it is time to just give up .....and then someone says something that makes us realize that we have made a difference .....Thank you!

Since everyone has used unique to describe our somewhat crazy ways .....Are you saying I am the top crazy around here?

 

Yep I'm sure they are gone. I was with them almost 2 years and just got tired of OTR so I went with JB doing regional and barely made 300 a week so just decided it was time for a career change. I've missed it ever since and wish I never got out of it. There was definitely some good people there when I was there. Johnny was still in charge of the place, they had a small terminal in Battleboro, NC that was ran by Thomas Young. I loved dealing with him. I heard he moved to Rockwall but I only went there a few times.

 

You made a good decision, zyk285. You most likely got out of trucking at a good time...and going back to school was a great idea. Having career options was a wise decision ....you still have a cdl and with a refresh you could go back to driving.

 

Well of course I'm thinkin'! Didn't you see the little wheels turning?!

My only problem is that they grind a little slower now days!
