If you haven't found a ride feel free to contact me. Hansen has several terminals in the southeast and lots of freight

Over the years I have worked for several of the big carriers - including Hansen - and work the southeast region.

I hope you enjoy it eventually. You will have to give it 6-12 months before you start to really like it. For "most" people it is very overwhelming at first, but others pick it up right away while for others it is just too much and either quit or get cut loose. That's why I say give it 6-12 months because hopefully by then you will be comfortable and will start to enjoy it. When you get out on your own keep you a big jug of water and gatorade, something to eat (you may be there loading from breakfast until dinner at first) and take your watch off, because if you see the drivers beside you load in an hour or so and you see that it's taking you 4-8 hours, you will get frustrated and maybe rush. Don't Ever, Ever, Ever, Ever Rush! If you do you will tear something up or get hurt. Before long you will have a good safe routine and will be loading in an hour or two, but it just takes time. Good Luck!
