Another cutting it close to the 70 day. Going to see if I can get the ok to do reset in Houston. Plus the ex said my license came in.

What say you, is this reset worthy? I could make it work but running like that kills the mojo!! At my age I can't afford to lose the mojo!! ^^^^^ hours I'll be losing the next few day. Plus this 900 mile load to Houston with 3 stops. 1st two Sunday and last Monday. Was thinking about coming back Wednesday maybe even Tuesday night if they have something.

I had a trailer uncouple on me in the yard. Since I was in the probationary period (I just left a company I'd been with for 5 years for a 40% pay increase and less hours) and there was damage (umbilicals ripped out the electrical box,) it was an instant termination.

I've had a bad feeling about this outfit since I started, paranoid, I felt like I wasn't going to make it though the 90 days. There was a big cultural shift from where I was (mom & pop, laid back) to where I went (big, corporate, lots of burocracy).

But yeah, I didn't REALLY see it coming, and they tossed me out on the street with zero notice.
I was on night shift so I can't sleep right now, but I can't DO anything until the morning.

Hopefully I can get some temporary unemployment or something, because the rent is due in a week.

Got a load to Denver from kennesaw wed. Morning. Then got sent to Kansas City , now waiting for a load to Rialto ca. Odds of being home for the weekend. ZERO.

 

I called and reserved a parking spot in Ganado, Tx when I got fuel in Baytown.
Had 3 hours on my clock and only needed 2 to get here. US59 was closed 17 miles from here and had to detour about 25 miles extra to get here. Luckily where the detour ended it was only about 1/2 mile from the reentry to US59 so I made it here on the town street.

Since the highway is closed, I get here and there is only about 25 trucks here. The truck stop is dead empty...,..

Just my luck, I reserved a spot at an empty truck stop........ SIGH....

 

And I went 8 minutes over and had a HOS violation...,,

 

Tucked behind the receiver in Tracy.

Will decide on home or another loop when the Friday broker panick sets in.

Cause if they want the fertilizer in WA on Monday it's going to cost 'em.
