BP truck stop new the last few months
foggy foggy foggy so I said self you cant unload for 8 hours and your 4 hours away why drive without the radar
Breakfast sandwiches are homemade very good
they have 2 showers so I splurged the $10 nicest shower I have had on the road
Of course I justified this because I usually get a room Saturday night so I saved $50

the old man has needs that must be taken care of when he's home. I let y'all play with her long enough it was my turn.

and then went to bed and promptly went to sleep lol it was a long annoying week that caught up with me soon as I was horizontal. getting older sucks sometimes

 

If I let the white whale high idle for my 34 restart (you would too in El Paso without a APU) and possibly a bit longer, I just spent over $100 in fuel. Shoulda got a hotel for the weekend. Been cheaper. Oh well, I'm here now.

lol I don't even get her on sunday mornings. she leaves me and the dogs here and goes to church.

she has a guilty conscience I guess since she won't be there any this week she's doing old folks help on the bus today too so I don't get her back until early afternoon.

a lot to be said for having a church girl in many respects.......even though I can't be bothered with all that bs. on paper a quasi-atheist and a church chick should never work but it does. i don't begrudge her beliefs and she doesn't try to preach to me or ask me to go. I do reap the benefits of it though lol keeps her honest and faithful but you can believe all the other stuff they say about those church girls too hehehe
