Prime student

WHAT is on their website?

Leasing terms? Yes. Because they offer leases.

Anything more than than that? No.

I'm not saying that leasing is a good option (their plans or anyone else's) but there is nothing on the website that pertains to the original question.

 

That's because here, we "pertain things" differently, which leads to more debates,. talks and rants, over ANY original pertaining...!!

Because companies like Prime, (or as it known as, New Prime, after hey got sued BIG TIME), and JB Hunt, and Schneider, CR England, and a few that are long ago defunct, Prime took over the piss poor students and gave them jobs and the crashes started. Once when we would say things at a truck stop like, "look out JB is backing up", we now say. Look out Prime is coming, run for your life"...!!

JB Hunt WAS REAL BAD, and for a time Schneider was better, then THEY TOO took a nose dive, but JB Hunt AND Schneider had gotten better over the years. As first JB Hunt focused on the pay and benefits structure, to keep their drivers, rather than to have that awful revolving door. JB Hunt ALSO had people in the classroom getting federal training monies, that THOSE PEOPLE NNEVER EXISTED, and JB got hit hard by the feds.

Werner, CR England and Schneider at ONE TIME, HAD a minimum of 2 to 3 years of REQUIRED EXPERINCE to even have them look at your application..!!

You couldn't even talk to a HR Dept person back in the day, and they WERE HR DEPT people, NOT recruiters or head hunters as they are known today..!!

As soon as the flood gates opened to student training, nearly everyone that jumped into that boat, made MILLIONS from the federal gooberment training monies, and if a student got fired for the littlest of ANY reason, NO company cared, as they met their federal obligations to train. And thusly, got to keep the monies paid to them.

So in closing, PRIME (New Prime) makes the big sucking sound.

 

JB Hunt ALSO had people in the classroom getting federal training monies, that THOSE PEOPLE NNEVER EXISTED, and JB got hit hard by the feds. How about some PROOF to validate this or is it just more TS BS

 

All that may be true. But just because Prime may be a crappy company (and I'm not convinced it is any worse than any of the big training companies), how does ANY of that point a trainer getting a bonus for recruiting somene into a lease?

My other problem with this whole thing is that someone included a link to the Prime website claiming that on that page there is proof that someone gets a bonus for recruiting someone INTO A LEASE, when in fact there is absolutely nothing that in any way, shape, or form, that even closely suggests that is true.

And the best part is that you have even included actual wording from the website as proof of your claims, but again, those words have absolutely nothing to do with trainers getting more money to convince someone to lease.

It's like nobody actually took the time to read any of the links, and decided what is being claimed is true. The other crappy thing is that other folks, either too lazy to read through the links, or lacking the ability to comprehend what was actually written, took what was being claimed as the truth.

And very few things bother me more than people believing lies as truth.

 

You obviously have not been in the industry long enough to remember that fiasco. Soon after the feds caught up with JB for non-existent students, in their school, JB stopped all training to "focus" on the driver's they already had and the pay and benefits structure.

 

@BeanDip, you've been on TTR since December. The Prime lease has been discussed to death. The members on here know what we're talking about. Trust us.

Like I've said.....it used to be on Primes website clearly stating the bonus for getting people on a lease. It was a chart. Obviously Prime realized it wasn't very smart to make it viewable to the general public.

I get it. You view an attack on Prime as an attack on you. Please don't take it that way.

 

Sooner or later, those naysayers will leave, then believe us.

Yeah right I asked for PROOF not what I may or may not recall from the past 40+years I have been in trucking but like normal you cannot PROVIDE anything to back up your constant BS
